My washing machine won't stop spinning

good day everybody i have a problem and please can you help me fix it i have a washing machine i put my clothes in it put the soap all normal it usually take 30 min to wash the clothes because i put the ecotime 1h later no stoping 2 h later same i decided to sleep the next day probably it would stop i woke up then i heard the washing machine voice IT DIDN'T STOOOP i tried to unplug and plug it it didn't work i tried to press pause same thing not working and my clothes are trapped in there i can't get them out the door won't open i don"t know what to do please help me

Post the washing machine make and model number. We can not just pick one of the millions of machines and comment.

Hi there i have model number LT608s it keeps on spinning will not stop until i lift the lid slow downs then water will come in then speeds up to drain the water out any ideas please i would be grateful thank you

If your top load washing machine (or some older front load washers) is stuck on one continuous cycle and will not advance and forward to the next wash cycle, then most likely the washer timer is faulty and needs replacement. The timer on your washing machine controls all aspects of the wash, spin, and rinse cycles. When it does not automatically move onto the next cycle, you can assume that the timer is the cause of your problem. You can replace a timer very easily
