I/O Board : USB & HDMI aren't working but SD Card is

Hello all,

I have a problem without solutions.... The right I/O Board (A1502) of my MBP didn't work properly :

  • The SD Card Slot worked
  • But the right USB and HDMI didn't

The Apple Diagnostic passed without incidents, I formatted all, reinstall from 0 (Yosemite or Sierra), I did everything but it still didn't work....

So I decided to change the I/O Board ! And... I still have the same issues !! ;(

Do you have any idea ? What or where could be the problem ??

Btw I know that the previous owner changed very badly the SSD from a 128gb to a 256gb.

Options

Try the I/O cable, most likely a problem with this if a new board didn't fix the issue.

Thanks for your answer Reece so I did it I ordered a new I/O cable and changed it today but the problem is still there...

I think I'm gonna go to an Apple Store and request an estimate to know where the problem is...
