Not working display help

IMac opened for replacement of harddisk does not display after device is collected

I have damaged the LCD backlight cable as it is a standard part, but I do not have the original, but the device does not display the screen but the opening sound sounds but there is no picture.

I tested it on an external screen and the device does not come back anymore Has anyone ever experienced such a problem before ?
