S6 Edge is shattered on the back- heats while charging-won't turn on.

The S6 Edge is shattered on the back. It is shattered to the point where your hand gets scratched when you pick it up. Right after the moment when the phone shattered, the phone was completely responsive. However, after a few hours, the phone would not turn on. I have tried charging it, and it still does not turn on. All that the phone does is warm up. Is there any chance that the phone is repairable?

@maxdes , Maxim D , Yes there is a chance the device is repairable, for now stop trying to power it up/charging as you may be damaging it worse(causing a short). I will post a link at the bottom to a tear down guide of your phone, You can dismantle your phone from the guide and see if there are evident damaged parts and replace them, You will also want to look over the board carefully for any loose components, cracked solder joints,etc.. There is no guarantee that you will fix it, but does not hurt to open it up and check it out. The second link are some parts that are available from the iFixit store, select your model to see what is available at the link. If you feel you prefer not to fix device yourself have a good local computer/cell phone repair shop take a look and estimate repair. Good luck.

I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
