What do I need look at to upgrade ps3 Harddrive?

I have a 40GB Fat PS3 want to upgrade to a 160GB. I know how to do the hardware stuff but do I need I certain hard drive.

I believe that you can use any standard 2.5" SATA laptop hard drive. As for a website/guide, try this. You will need a USB flash drive/external HDD to backup your old data onto.

+ 160GB would be a lot better, however you might consider the extra $10 or so for a 250 or 320GB. stick with a 5400RPM....Just my 2cents, I could not help myself even thou it's not the question. Cost per GB. etc.....

if you are going to upgrade i would def make it a 7200 rpm instead of a 5400..also just my 2 cents
