Display problem after digitizer replacement

I replaced the digitizer on a Lenovo IdeaPad S8-50F recently and there is an issue. There is a spot, about dime size, that looks like a wet spot where maybe the digitizer may touch the LCD?? If I gently raise one corner of the digitizer it will go away. Then, when I try to press the corner back down, it happens again. There was another big place that was the same way, but I raised the corner and left it open for a few days and the big one is gone. It's like moisture is getting in before the unit is sealed. But, I can't fight that (living in Washington state). Does any one know what this is and how to avoid it?
