My phone won't turn on, whats wrong?

A year ago, my phone was cracked and stopped working and I tore the phone apart. I recently got energetic and put the phone back together. The screen worked and I could tell the phone was on. I ordered a replacement screen and after replacing it, the phone worked! I had charged the phone to 2% and figured I would charge it later when I got into class. The phone died, and ever sense then has not been working. I double checked the cables to make sure the screen was in right and everything was fine. It was. I don't even get a vibration when I plug it in to charge, or even if I try to turn it on.

What could possibly be my problem?

Also, the phone connects to itunes and I've tried the hard reset, recovery mode, etc. Nothing seems to work!

So it seems like the motherboard and charge port are working since iTunes does recognize it. It could be possible that the display is faulty or something cause a short.

Sounds like a faulty screen if iTunes recognizes it. Shine a bring light up to the screen and see if you can see a picture.

I tried this, however, no picture was seen. But, I also don't know for sure if the screen is on to begin with.

Cody McCarty , Maybe double check battery and charge port connections for loose/damage/corrosion, clean and reseat battery connection, look inside charge port and use a can of compressed air to blow out any dust/debri.. Remove battery then reinstall and try charging. It sounds like you may have a faulty battery or charger, Try a different charger/ cord and see if it takes a charge. If not change the battery. Good luck.

I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
