Touch ID working, Home Button Not Working After Screen Replacement

I recently replaced my iPhone screen cause the digitizer in the old one stopped working. The screen was not cracked. Just the digitizer. The button membrane appears intact, and I followed the teardown closely Is there any way to get the button to work?
