Opening 16gb iPhone 3G: ribbon labeled 4 broken

I was trying to replace the back, the volume and mute button on my iPhone 3g, and while opening with too much hurry, I broke that 4 ribbon.

It was the first time I've opened the iPhone...

I'm gonna go on trying to fix the buttons and the back, but what about this?

That must be the dock connector.

How can I fix it

I Apologize for the bad English (I'm Italian)!

looking forward to having some useful informations!

Thanks

P.S. here is the picture of the phone

you can just replace the flex for speaker/mic/usb or buy the whole dock connector including antenna (easier to fit, but costs more)

the motherboard connection looks good
