White spots on iPhone 5S screen after screen replacement

Greetings,

I recently dropped my phone and the worst of the worst happened, I picked it up and the screen was smashed. Whilst it was still usable I took it to my local repair shop and they fitted me a new screen.

I didn't notice it as first but when I eventually went on to a website with a black background I noticed white spots in corners and edges of the screen. Also, when I push down on the screen with moderate pressure these white spots are emphasised and more appear.

Just wondered if I should take it back? And if I do I wanted some sound advice in case they attempt to deny responsibility for causing it. Any help would be appreciated and pictures are provided below.

it looks like a faulty screen/LCD.

I repair and get these seldom.

Take it back for a warranty replacement if you're not happy with it.

Thanks for the response, I'll take it back to the store and try and get them to fix it. My touch ID has suddenly stopped working also in the last few days. Do you think this could be linked to the screen replacement?

Thanks.

Yep.

White spots are pressure spots on the LCD.

Whatever is under it is pushing against the LCD.

Also touch ID going off may be due to no Metal clip above the home button plug for it to stay on well.

When dropping the phone the home button cable can unplug without the clip.
