Battery replacement, partial disassembly

I noticed on youtube.com that the battery replacement could be accomplished without a total disassembly of the display. Any comments pro/con?

You can do it without removing the display, but if your hand slips it could sever the display cables. If you can do this correctly without bumping anything it would save time but i would disconnect it just in case.

I agree with Gigabit. Yes, it can be done but you are taking a large amount of risk for not much gain. Zack (of ZacksJerryRig) has done hundreds of these so he is very proficient. If this is your first time, follow the appropriate iFixit guide and take your time.
