Smart Cover being used with magnet in it? Or using magnetised object on iPad? Probably in contact with the smart cover lock sensor.

I think there is nothing wrong with the software and did you unplug the battery first before unplugging and plugging the LCD cable?

If you didn't then most likely the backlight circuit needs to be diagnosed. Might be a backlight filter blown.

Have you checked if the LCD is showing display with no backlight? I think you shine flashlight to check if it's showing very dim display.

Smart cover is sold by Apple.

It was originally intended to replace the touch screen.

When I replaced it, I cut the cable of the touch screen, lifted the lcd, removed the iron plate, removed the iron plate covering the cable of the lcd, and removed the cable of the lcd cable and the screen.

maybe, It seems that there was damage when lifting.

I'm having trouble understanding your question, but it sounds like you may be having trouble with your iPad Mini 2 screen staying dark or turning off when your cover is on it.

It's possible that the sensors in the new screen are detecting the magnets in the smart cover when it's fully opened (they're only supposed to detect the cover when it's closed). Does the same problem happen when the iPad is not in the case and doesn't have the cover?

First, Smart cover is sold by Apple.

And only when use a cover.

That's what I thought. That problem is often due to the circuitry attached to the home button cable - on the iPad Mini 2 that's permanently attached to the replacement glass and digitizer panel that you installed. If the sensor is too sensitive it will behave like that with an Apple SmartCover. The only way that I know of to fix it is to make sure you've got your kapton tape properly installed or, if you have already done that, to replace the glass and digitizer panel with another one.

Also the home button cable has the smart cover sensor components on there. Either reuse the home button from the original screen if possible or transfer the small components to the other home button cable.

If the lock button only works by holding power button then maybe the home button cable is damaged.

Did you remember to Transfer the Magnets from the old Digitizer to your replacement Digitizer?
