Ordered an Unlocked, Int'l. Galaxy Note 4 N910C, received an N910T2

I use NET 10 as my provider in AT&T & Verizon coverage areas. The Note 4 N910C was described as compatible with AT&T 4G LTE coverage. When I received the N910T2 phone, however, it was an unlocked T-Mobile phone, and the website description was that it was NOT a fully compatible phone (not sure if that meant with AT&T, or even with T-Mobile), but at any rate, we have NO coverage for T-Mobile here. I've contacted Samsung, they say if it's an unlocked phone, it should be compatible with AT&T.

So should I just treat this phone as if it's AT&T compatible, and use the APN settings for an AT&T compatible phone?

And get the Marshmallow updates directly from Samsung? Because I obviously won't be getting any updates from AT&T, NET 10, or T-Mobile, right?

I hate bait and switch sellers. Thankfully, no harm in this one.

The 910C has 64-bit Exynos processors while the 910T has a 32-bit Qualcomm CPU. Argumentatively, both have similar performance.

The 910C has slightly different LTE band support (geared toward EU LTE), but both 910C and 910T have support for LTE bands 2,4,5,17, which is what AT&T uses, so you are ok here.

Regarding updates, however, the 910T will receive updates from T-Mobile. They actually have been really good about this. They have not only provided the Marshmallow update, they have provided security updates up to January 2017 so far.

Is the 910T the same as the 910T2??

T-Mobile provides un-restricted free updates.

Simply go to Settings --> About Phone --> Software updates.

It should update to 6.0.1.

Hey SW, thank you. However, it goes through the process of updating but remains 4.4.4 . Nothing changes.
