Screen glitch when starting up MacBook Pro
Hi all,
I got my MacBook Pro back from the Apple Store yesterday as I had the battery replaced. When I came into the store prior to the replacement the genius guy I talked to ran some tests and when testing the VST it came up with a yellow exclamation mark to which he said was no problem given the age of my mac.
When I got home I replaced the old hard drive with an SSD and upon booting up I noticed that there was a horizontal line just above the Apple logo and the screen would turn black then it would come back on again and would boot up normally. It only really happens when I start up and not when I'm doing usual tasks.
I had the logic board replaced just last year and I don't think I'll be able to get it in for repair for free if it is another logic board failure.
This is not my video but what happens is the exact same thing as mine https://youtu.be/VpHS4QSz-ew
Given that it only happens on startup, should I be worried that it might die (not boot up at all) in the future?
Thank you so much and I appreciate any help I can get.
Is this a good question?
