Were are the battery contacts and how do I know if they are bad? Does it make a difference if I'm using AA's or not?

by

Yes you need to use aa batteries, along with the battery shell that the batteries fit in to. The contacts are just the metal part where the batteries sit on top of. Make sure they are not corroded or bent otherwise the controller won't be getting power from the batteries

Hi you would need to dismantle the controller and clean the battery contacts with isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush, if they are really bad and that doesn't work, then you would need to buy replacement ones

The battery contacts are the metal part where the batteries sit and if they look corroded then most likely you would need to purchase replacement ones and solder them on
