Got screen replaced after broken it but still no picture.

Hello, I've got an Idol 3 5'5 6045K.

Few weeks ago my phone fell to the ground and broke a little bit. After a few days the picture just stopped. I took it to a friend of mine who fixes phones, he replaced the screen but still no image was appearing. He handed over the phone to me and said it was probably the board and it was not worth the money.

My question is, do you know what it may be the cause? I can fix the phone by myself if you have any steps or clues, I'm experienced aswell, mostly on laptops tho.

Paulo Monteiro , Check that the battery is fully charged and charger is working, try a different compatible charger. If your friend is correct and it needs the board replaced, I will post a link below showing how to access the board for replacement and you can do a good inspection of components on the board. May be when you get the phone apart check all connections, clean them with (Qtip/soft cloth dampened with 90% Isopropyl alcohol) and reseat all connectors and try powering up. Maybe even try a hard/factory reset before going for replacement board. Link #3, For replacement MB link #2, You can google search for better pricing. Good luck.
