My power won't turn on after New screen installation

Repaired my screen and now my phone won't turn on. There was no water damage and it worked great before the repair. Any ideas what I should do to try restarting it? It's plugged in. I tried reset by plugging in and holding home and power button at the same time for 10 seconds

You say it won't "turn on". Have you tried connecting it to iTunes to see if it is recognized?

Couple of things to look for:

  • Go back through this guide and double check to insure you didn't forget anything. Always disconnect the battery first and keep track of your screws.
  • Visually inspect, preferably with magnification, the connectors for the LCD, Digitizer, battery etc to see if there is any damage or debris.
  • The FPC connectors are easily damaged but when they connect properly, there should be a satisfying "snap".
  • If iTunes recognizes the phone, you may have a problem with the backlight or the backlight circuit. this could be caused by a defective replacement screen, connection issues or not disconnecting the battery.
  • Try to put back the original screen If that one works, even though it is cracked, then your problem is with the replacement screen.

Is the battery connector plugged in? Does iTunes recognize it?

I installed iTunes and it recognizes my phone but asks me to confirm something from my phone but there is no power to my screen. So I believe it recognizes the device but is still unresponsive.

@aprilhend Try to re-connect the LCD cable, the phone is on but just not displaying anything. If it still doesn't work, I think you got a defective screen.

Thank you. That is what I am thinking as well.

Maybe backlight is defect, can you see any image on the screen when you look on a angle at the screen?

There is no image, no color, no back light, or anything that shows on the screen. When I plug it into the wall it does not show a battery charging, etc. If a defect what do I do?

The OP already tried that.

I tried that. Multiple times. I have written iFixit and they want me to take apart and take pictures of all connectors. Thinking I will reinstall my cracked screen and return the product that isn't working on my phone...
