Ken Hale you are not telling us how they are connected. I am assuming they are on a computer. You do want to make sure that you are not having the mute button on and that your computer does indeed have audio out on. Also, make sure that the volume is up. To test the speakers, I would suggest that you use a different input source. i.e. MP3 player or even your cellphone. See if the speakers work then.

Somebody give it to me and I think it might have gotten wet and I've tried the different things that you suggested already thank you for the answer if you know any more about it I'll be glad to listen thanks

Hi Ken Hale,

If you suspect that it may have gotten wet, you most probably will have to open it and inspect it for any possible damage and loose connections. Take pictures of anything that you aren't sure about whether there is a problem or not e.g. circuit board, components etc and post back here so that we can see what you can see.

Ken Hale "I think it might have gotten wet " was not mentioned in the original question:-). Since you already tried it with different input source, you'll have to follow the great advice by @jayeff and open it up. Let us know what exact model your speakers are.
