Screen on MAX Brightness After Replacement

Just got a replacement screen off eBay. Came with everything - new camera, digitizer, etc. All I had to do was remove the old cracked screen and slap the new one in. Now, the screen brightness is at max. I have turned auto brightness off and tried setting it to minimum, but nothing.

All of the posts I have search are people having issues with DIM screens... lol I am having the exact opposite. Although, I did try the zoom fix, but nothing.

Any suggestions?

Auto brightness dim screen is caused by front camera ambient light sensor not working usually teared cable or just unplugged really.

Stuck on max brightness is probably a bad aftermarket screen as the backlight which is behind the screen and has 3 wires. Two for positive and negative power and third last one to send signal to the backlight on how bright the backlight should be.

I've never had this issue personally with aftermarket screens but if I did I would have to go really cheap on the screen and quality.

So in conclusion. Don't go too cheap on the screen and probably avoid eBay if you really want higher quality screens (You pay for what you get) just my 2 cents.
