I fell on top of my LX-5 on dry sand. The camera worked fine for a couple of weeks but then froze up. Nothing broken but the lens doesn't project out. It looks as though the motor turns on but the gears can't move. A message appears on screen telling me to turn the camera off and then on again, but that doesn't help. During the two weeks, I took photos was well as videos; all perfectly fine. Can you help

althakkar sounds like your lens can no longer extend, possibly due to the sand in the mechanism. Try some of these suggestion from here.
If none of that will work I suggest that you change the Lens unit part number RFKZ0477 This guide will help you work on your camera Lumix DMC-LX5 Disassembly
