tested Charging port before replacement worked fine. but!

i had a iphone 6s plus that came in dead so we tested a new battery and charging port and it worked fine and charged. But when we fitted both parts it switched on but will not charge. I no its not the parts as i tried a couple of parts just in case. anyone have any ideas

did you check the motherboard port for the lighting ribbon cable? i have had customers come to me with tiny bits of sand in there that stops the connection between the ribbon cable and the mobo.

Yeah had it under the scope and its clean. Its when i dont fit the charging port but connect it to the logic board, its fine and chargers but when i fit the charging port (seat it) that's when it wont charge.

new part I assume? if used part check the charging port for lint. On the 6s on the exact same replacement your explaining i have seen non apple charging cables not charge. Also make sure the lighting port is flush to the frame when mounting it inside the phone
