How can I reset the password so I can activate the phone

iPhone 5s A1453

I got an iPhone from my aunt she can't remember the password and I can't get on is there anyway that I can either bypass it so I can get on and activate my sim card and my monthly plain?

If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled

You need your aunt to provide proof of purchase at an Apple store. They can reset/remove the password.
