The Dodge Dakota (called the Ram Dakota for its final two years of production) is a mid-size pickup truck from Chrysler’s Ram division (formerly called the Dodge Truck division). The second-generation Dakota began development in 1991, though they were not introduced until 1996 for the 1997 model year.

@kushnpush , Peyton, The bleed port may only be on the 4,7 engine. See the 1st link below for bleeding procedure if not equipped with a bleeder use the second link. I would also continue to check the coolant level a few times over the next couple days and repeat procedure if you notice temp. gage acting strange or heater not producing heat as it would normally.
