Hi I installed the battery following both the manual and YouTube video you provide. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary but when trying to update, my phone gives me a 4013 error. I tried restoring it as well but it does the same thing. Any suggestions would be grateful.

Try the suggestions from Geoff Ice and let us know the results. Error 4013 is usually NAND related (data corruption). You could try a DFU Restore as well but it may be a board level repair.

Have you done a hard reset? Does the wifi on your phone work all the time, or does it cut out randomly? Have you tried using an alternate iPhone cable to connect to your computer to restore? Have you tried turning off the phone's wifi, and connecting it to your computer to restore?

Hi, I have tried using an alternate cable to take while plugged into my laptop after holding both the power and home keys to do a factory restore. But I still get the same error.
