Replacing the Logic Board, what about installing iOS?

My iPhone just won't work! I'm not sure what is the problem.

I thought it is the battery, but I tested it and it was OK, So I came to a conclusion that the logic board maybe burnt.

2 Questions:

  • How can I make sure that the logic board working or not?
  • If I change the logic board (that includes the processor and the storage unit) does the new logic board came with the iOS or I need to reload it somehow?

Regards,,,

Sameeh

There are no OEM iphone motherboards. All boards are taken from retail phones.

Since they come from working phones, they either came with everything loaded already or you can always download and install everything again.

Connect your phone to your computer, you want to rule out charging cable, charge port, battery. if your computer does not recognize the phone being plugged in there is a disconnect somewhere. try the easy stuff first otherwise may need further diagnostic.
