I replaced the carburettor and now it won't crank

I bought this scooter and it was running fine first couple days then it started flooding out worse each time I rode it. I took the carburettor off and was going to check the float when I notice the housing on the carburettor where the float is was cracked. I guess the last owner tighten the screw down to much to crack the housing. This gave me reason to buy a new one. I put the new one on and now I can't get it to crank

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Thank you this was very helpful but in still having trouble this manual does not show how the fuel lines are run or the vacuum lines
