No sound from Loudspeaker

Hi,

I'm a bit stuck with this problem.

A week or two back the sound from the loudspeaker started intermittently to get distorted. All OK if I plugged the headphones in or played via bluetooth. Eventually the sound went to only working intermittently and very distorted. Then (no surprise) the sound went completely. Again the headphones work fine.

Assuming the speaker had failed I replaced it with no joy. Cleaned out the headphone jack as best I could - in case the phone thought it was still connected. Cleaned out the docking jack etc. still no sound, also any ideas?

Thanks,

Phil.

Next in line is lightning dock, then board issue in my opinion.

And is there any particular history we should know about such as drop, liquid spill, previous repair?

Thanks for your answer.

No drops or spills. Home button was replaced about 2 years ago.

Think I read somewhere that the lightening dock, mic and headphone jack were all one piece? I've made sure the lightening socket is totally free of fluff etc.

It isn't about fluff in the port - it is about the contacts on that same flex cable that connects the speaker to the board. The next point of failure would be the connection between the speaker and the board, and to do that, you will need to replace the lightning port

First check that Loudspeaker option is highlight or not, check while ear speaker active press volume there sign of ringer option shows or not if ringer shows change the charging flex.If not that is the issues of Audio IC.
