MacBook white dead after inverter fix!
Hello,
I have a trouble with a MacBook white, late 2008.
I have replaced the inverter and its cable, because the display remained all black (but with a light I noticed that the MacBook was working).
Despite I had followed the guide with great attention, the MacBook never turns on. The LED of Magsafe is green (the battery was already drained), but when I try to power on the MacBook, there isn't any sign of life: no sound, no fan... nothing.
What can I try to fix it?
I read that upper case cable can cut out even the power button: I remove it carefully, but I don't know what else can be the problem.
Can I turn on the MacBook without the power button, so then I can understand if the problem is the upper case cable?
Any other suggestion?
Thank you!
Is this a good question?
