Vertical green lines on display

Hello my iphone 5 display started showing some green lines like the ones in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6PLwtEc....

The touchscreen is still responsive and working well.

Can the display be repaired?What causes those lines.

Two things you can do here:

One: Check the connector for the LCD. Disconnect from the board, lightly clean the connector and the connection with isopropyl (99% or a very high percentage) and then reattach to the motherboard (listen to the nice click sound for a perfect connection).

If that doesn't work...

Two: Replace the full assembly for the iPhone 5. If you are unable or don't feel comfortable to do the repair, no worries! Just look up a reputable repair shop in your area and you should be looking in the $65-$89 range for a repair.
