Motherboard problem, broken track.

Hi, my background is in electronics but found working on micro=electronis without circuit diagram difficult. Took this on as a favour for a friend. The DC socket was badly damaged such that the pin on the motherboard was so slack that I thought the track would be damaged. Sure enough I got a new DC socket fitted but still not charging up, there must be an open-circuit from the through-hole plating to the first component (probably pull-up resistor) the charging LED that emits when the Mains charger is fitted. Need to find out from circuit diagram or motherboard where the central pin is linked to. Can anyone help?

Just realised my typing error! Should read BROKEN TRACK!

Hi Jayeff, the first web page didn't make much sense but certainly the second came up with required schematic. Will need a good magnifying glass now to identify the capacitor as my eyesight has deteriorated since working at component level on PCBs fifteen years ago. Thank you so much for your input and I will let you know how I get on ... Frank.
