Hi,

Here is a link to the parts available for a Dyson DC08 (select your particular variant, although the hose is the same for all variants)

http://shop.dyson.com.au/spare-parts?ran...

Here is the part number for the hose, 905377-01 (if this is the hose that you mean).

If it is what you mean, then if you search online, using just the part number in the search term, you will get a list of suppliers, which may suit you better as to the cost of the part.

Here is an image of what I mean.

Hopefully this is of some help.

I believe jr.trhodes was talking about the short flexible hose within the contact head. I have the same problem and Dyson told me there are no spare p[arts available. It’s obviously a weak link in the design as it takes a beating and is constantly being flexed. A real shame Dyson doesn’t do more to help it’s customers as the vacuum cleaner is efficient and expensive but one small hose brings it to a halt - or you buy an entire contact head and have to throw the old one away instead of repairing it.

I have the exact same problem. DC08T contact head. The short flexible hose inside the contact head has split in a couple of places. I've been unsuccessful finding either the hose itself, or even a replacement contact head....

+Same problem for me. The hose has split in several places. Looks like they have used a cheap, flexible PVC hose - which is never going to last for long. Pity that there is no replacement hose available. Hope they have upgraded the part (and replaced the design engineer who specified the material!) in newer models!

Same problem here. The short flexible hose within the head has split in a couple of places. Can't access it to fix it. Can't replace the hose or find another head. So this one small part means the entire vacuum is now useless. Bad design.

Hi, same problem here (Belgium), but I have just seen that these tubes are available for the DC37 at least. Search for "Dyson contact head repair". Still searching to see if it's also OK for my DC20.
