Charging port replacement -now no lcd or vibrate but recognises itunes

Normal routine charging port replacement.. reconnecting original battery after charging port replaced now the there is no signs that the iphone will turn on.. i connected to itunes and it says the iphone is turned on.. i can put the phone into DFU mode and it shows on itunes but still no picture on screen

Did you disconnect the battery before changing the charge port? You may have damaged the backlight circuit on the logic board when you removed and re-installed the screen assembly.

If you have access to other parts or another 5C, try to isolate the failure. If the modular parts check out okay, then you probably have an issue on the logic board. That is not a DIY repair.

Yes I did disconnect the battery before the charging port.. I've tried different screens/ charging ports and still the same occours.. how would I know if I damaged the logic board?
