Only back light ,no picture on LCD

Help!! I have replaced the complete screen assembly twice.

The first time I was able to get a picture and some what of a response to the touch screen, but only if I held the screen in one hand and moved it around a little.

The second screen one day old, only flickers (grayish screen)

Also the phone will only come on if connected to a charger.

I do not have a way too hook it to iTunes.

Any suggestions will be helpful

I'm not a technical person but I work on phones for extra money.

What makes this job really bad is this is my daughters phone and she sees me fixing 3 or 4 phones a week but can't figure out hers.

Hi Lisa, on the surface it sounds like you have a poor quality replacement screen. Do you have access to a known-good screen or can you try your replacement screens on another device? That would help you isolate the problem somewhat.

The other thing you mention is the flickering gray screen. Is that like a gray bar at the top pf the screen? If so, your device may be suffering from Touch Disease. That is a fairly common problem with the 6 Plus. You can click to my profile for a link to my blog about Touch Disease if you want to learn more (or Google it).

Hi thanks for responding, you asked about the flickering , no its not bar it's the whole screen, like a shortage.

Honestly at this point I would take it to a mobile phone repair shop if you cant figure it out. It sounds like it's going to take more screens to test from a different supplier especially.
