Using the iSlack doesn't pry up the digitizer with it

I want to replace my dumb iPhone 5c's battery. I pry up the screen using the iSclack, but only the screen comes up with it, and not the digitizer. It seems like Apple didn't glue the digitizer properly, since my phone is a little pried up from the top ever since I bought it.

What can I do to remove the digitizer along with the screen?

The 5C doesn't have a home button cable, attached to the Lightning dock. Honestly I never use a suction cup anymore. The spudger is a good tool, or you can use a flat head screw driver. Make sure to pry from the bottom right, so as not to disturb the two gold pins, on the Lightning dock
