Washer filled and then would not do anything. The lid switch is good and the timer is good. It makes no noise at all. The outlet is also good?

The simple answer is it is your water fill switch. On the front of the console is the knob you adjust for the amount of water you want. It works by the use of a diaphragm being moved by the air pressure sent to it from a air chamber on the side of the tub, up a tube, and into the switch.
This water level switch is an easy fix, You can change it your self.
Watch this video to show you the method. Remember to unplug the power plug and turn off the water. \also another tip would be to manually turn the timer to spin to pump out the water, as you need to get behind the washer to work on it.

So I read above you said the lid switch is good, timer is good, it filled then stopped.
With the lid closed and the timer in the spin cycle it should start pumping the water out. It must be plugged in and the lid closed. How do you know the lid switch is good? You can get water with the lid open but the timer motor, agitate will not proceed unless the lid is closed and the water has reached the desired level. We need to know what you mean by the lid switch is good and the timer is good, then we can help further. If you have the machine apart scan the wiring diagram found under the back splash ,usually. We will have a better idea with the exact drawing. Can you post a scan of the drawing?

Another simple answer. Once again with the timer set for some wash cycle you pull the timer knob on most washers and the water comes in. The water will come in until it reaches the load setting which means a light or less water and so on. With the lid up the washer will not wash or agitate. It will not spin or do anything for safety you may have your arm in the washer.
If you are getting water, then the water level switch is working. When it reaches the desired level in the tub it will stop the water coming in. If you get water spilling out then this switch is broken closed. With the water level ok and the lid closed the motor runs forward and agitates. The timer for the cycle will not advance with out enough water and the lid closed as well. If you do not have agitation then the belt could be broken, but some motor noise should be heard. The washer runs on the timer that advances very time the same amount of time for the same wash cycle.. If you have water and the lid is closed and no motor running then a wire could be burnt off or the timer contacts are faulty. Push in the timer knob and forward it to say another cycle or to the spin cycle and pull out again. The motor to spin reverses the motor and pumps the water out from the pump had a flaper valve on reverse opens up the drain outlet to pump. Some cycles pump out then once again go forward and add more water to un-suds the clothes. But so far with no motor noise then the machine has to be taken apart and look at the motor, belt, clutch and also some motors have a capacitor mounted off the motor could have fallen off, but this would still with out the capacitor make the motor hum and trip the breaker. Once again unplug if you pull the was her apart. Oh I wonder if the moor has a thermal cut out like a little red button on it, if the pump is jammed it could be in need of reset. All makes of machines and I have never seen it but just thinking this run of machines could have a reset.
