Charging Port Re-Soldering to Motherboard.

I can't seem to get the Charging Port Re-Soldered on the Motherboard. It's a Strange little dude !!

The one time I tried, I also failed. I did find that a little flux paste on the pads helped the solder adhere to the pad, and even helped separate the solder so it didn't try to clump together across all of the pads. Even though I got it soldered, it still wouldn't charge. I gave up, probably too quick, because a new kindle was fairly cheap at the time.
