Home button still isn't working after replacement?

So, I bought new parts for my home button including the key cap, flex cable, holder, screws, and the film.

I followed the guide on this website and for some reason it still doesn't work. At all. I checked it over several times to make sure every part was in place and I honestly don't know what is wrong.

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what could possibly be wrong or if there's some other part I need to replace?

I don't know if this information helps but I wan't 100% sure when I put the home button membrane/film in place along with the home button so maybe I messed up there? Although, I don't see how that would cause my new home button to not work at all.
