exposed ground short repair

“How do you fix exposed ground on an iphone 6s that's shorting? There's a place where I removed two caps and now one pad is connected to the other. It literally sparks.”

But the pad of one cap is now connected (via exposed ground) to the cap next to it.

I'm no microsoldering vet, but I would say remove the caps, if they're back on, clean up the pads, then replace the caps
