Rebooting during iTunes reset

iPhone 5s reboots when during factory reset and during iCloud download and set up.. The battery also goes up and down but has great battery life and the phone does take and hold a charge plus works great.. the problem is resetting to factory setting and once there downloading iCloud account it keep rebooting during the process
