Just replaced display w/ full assembly but touchscreen doesn't work.

I just installed my new iPhone 6 LCD Screen Digitizer and Full Screen Assembly. The display (and home button I reinstalled) work great on the new screen...but the touchscreen doesn't respond. I checked the connections and everything is snapped in, but the touchscreen is still unresponsive. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I made sure not to damage any connections during the install. Do you think this replacement part is faulty?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I reinstalled my broken screen and the touchscreen works perfectly, so I know that

1.) I connected it correctly

2.) the problem is not with my phone.

This leads me to believe the part sent to me was faulty. Any thoughts?

Yep most likely screen faulty if the previous screen had working touch screen.

Did a little looksie around iFixit and one solution would be to Hold your Home Button and the Power On-Off sleep button for ten or so seconds. That should restore the Touch, Stabilizer, etc.

If not it could be faulty part but I seriously doubt it is. Apple phone parts are built correct the first time.

Here are three URLs that could also be the problem - and or your solution(s).

Touch ID not working after screen replacement?
