Why wont my crv start

My crv was running fine then as we were going up a hill it died on us i replaced the battery spark plugs distributor cap and the main relay now it trys to start but wont its getting gas and i checked the timing one of them is slightly off could that be the problem

Has the timing belt been replaced yet? They should be changed every 100,000 miles. It maybe that the belt jumped a tooth. Not that familiar with hondas and unsure if can even do that, just a thought.

You said it's getting gas. If the fuel filter is partially clogged then it will show some getting to engine. But not enough pressure. Going up hills and dying is what I've heard most when a fuel filter is to blame. Due to the more demand for gas when pulling hills.
