Cracked screen and now has trouble waking up

I dropped my phone a couple weeks ago and it must have hit a couple pebbles when it landed because it cracked in about 3 places on my screen. Now the bottom half of my screen flashes randomly and sometimes I have trouble getting the screen to wake up at all. It just stays black. I can still use the screen even while it is black to shut down my phone and then turn it back on and it will work again. Will just replacing the broken screen fix my issue, or is there going to be more to it?

A new screen might fix your issues, however sometimes with drops other components such as the motherboard can take damage which causes weird issues.

Everything works on the phone. I can receive calls....I just have to guess on where my answer swipe is :) I receive texts, but the screen stays black. The touchscreen works I just can't see what I'm touching. Do you think any other parts would need replaced?
