I replaced the screen and now it doesnt want to power on

i changed the cracked screen on my iphone 3g and when i was done with the change the iphone does not want to power on i connected it to the power source and its still black i dont know what to do!!

if you can toggle the vibrate switch and iphone vibrates but no display (try when plugged in) then you need to go back and check connector 1 is on properly-it sometimes pops off as you are closing. hold it with a finger or a small screwdriver until you are just about closed with the display.

it may be that in changing the cracked screen you broke the lcd-did you only change the digitiser or the whole display?
