Hi,

Like most android tablets you cannot increase the installed memory capacity of the device. The memory is mounted directly onto the systemboard and there is no option to increase the installed capacity..

You can try and disable some pre installed apps that came with the tablet to see if this increases the performance a bit. Not sure of your tablet but go to Settings > Applications (or perhaps it may be known as Apps management) swipe the screen L to R or R to L until you see All (there should also be Downloaded, Running and Storage) then scroll down to find the pre installed apps that you wish to disable. Tap on the app and see if there is a disable option. Tap it and follow the prompts. Do not disable any system apps as this will cause the tablet not to function properly.

The other option is to root the tablet. This should allow you to uninstall any pre installed apps permanently which should increase performance as it will stop them from operating in the background and going online etc. As you didn't state the model number of your tablet here is a link which may be of some help if the tablet is a MarquisPad MP977 http://hexamob.com/devices/android-rooti... If this is not your model just search online looking for your model tablet with the word root into the search term

The other thing that you can do is to insert a larger capacity external SD Card and try to move some apps from the internal storage to the SD Card to free up some internal storage. Follow the same procedure as above to find the apps but this time look for a move to SD card option and use it if it is available. Be aware that not all apps can be moved as the option to move it is set by the developer of the app when it was first created

Hi @Keith Landers,

If you have a Marquis MP977 then according to the user manual - p.13 the tablet supports a micro SD card up to 32GB. See under Sect. 3.2 Functionalities.
