iPhone 6 Blue Dot / Pressure Dot after battery replacement

I've changed and iPhone 6 battery and after closing the LCD back in place, a blueish dot appears a cm above the home button. while the screen is still lifted (not yet seated with the frame), this blue dot does not appear, only when it is properly seated with the frame.

I've checked that there are no loose screws running around, and cleaned thoroughly

any ideas?

This is a pressure spot caused by uneven surface. You must reseat the dock of any high point. You will find something that you have missed

I'm having this same problem, and after some troubleshooting it's definitely the bottom right corner of the battery causing the spot. I have no clue how to proceed.

Worst case scenario is that you will need to replace the battery again as that is most likely a manufacturer defect.

That area is most likely the gas gauge board at the bottom of the battery causing it.

That's what I'm leaning toward at this point. Thanks!
