iPhone 6 Plus Screen Replacement now poor battery life

Hi,

I cracked my screen on my iPhone 6 Plus a few days ago and immediate bought a replacement screen and replaced yesterday.

Since replacing my battery has become very poor, I would say when using the phone it drops 1% around every minute and whilst in standby (overnight) it dropped around 20%.

I have turned everything off (location services, bluetooth, notifactions, mail etc) and even enable battery saving too. but it is still happening. I have tried restoring too, but seems a coincidence my battery all of sudden has become poor since replacing the screen yesterday.

One thing that did go wrong with the install is I broke the finger print home button ribbon (so the finger print scanner doesn't work, no big issue), I still connected the nodes together (to obviously see if it worked). could this be causing a short and creating poor battery life?

Cheers

It may just be the screen that you bought and it's faulty and uses so much battery power. My advice would be to try to either buy a new battery or replace the screen again but buy from somewhere else.
