Home button not working after changing it and charging port

I cannot get my home button to work.. the Touch ID works but the home button is unresponsive.. I changed it twice then changed the entire charging port.. still no home button working and now my phone is stuck on press home button to upgrade after iTunes iOS upgrade.. is there any place on the logic board that control the home button ?? I need help..

You may want to check the charging port connector under a microscope. There are about 15 small filters that sit right beside the connector under the little black gasket and if any of those are missing that may be your problem. Its been my experience it is hardly every the charging port unless there is visible damage to the Touch ID connect or the lightning connector. I agree with iMedic if you do not have a microscope or anything that you can use to inspect that area it may be worth sending it to iPad rehab and let Jessa take a look. I'm wondering if it's the parts, that are the real issue here. I would try getting your parts exchanged, from where you purchased them. Or, better yet, send me back get a refund, and buy parts from iFixit
