I just got an iPod touch 8gb, yesterday. the apps were working for a nice 30 minutes but they wont work now.Every time i open one it shows a picture and automaticlly boots me back to the main screen. what do i do?

If the restart doesn't work, try resetting it. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and Home button together for about 10 seconds, until the startup Apple logo appears.

try restarting your iPod touch to see if that helps (power off, then power on again)

This has happened to me before -
1) Backup the iPod Touch in iTunes
2) Restore the iPod and set it up as a new iPod (not restore from backup)
3) sync the apps that you want (try one first to see if it works before syncing all)
4) Restore from backup (puts back contacts, notes, etc.)
5) Sync any songs, music, pictures

Just go to FILE in the I-Tunes software and manually sync your I-Pod.
the apps worked fine for me after that. The problem seem to be in the auto-sync when you plug-in.

mine is doing the same thing! this makes me mad!!! mine wont even let me download any apps from my laptop to my ipod touch now!!!! :|
