I replaced the power cord and while it worked for awhile, the TV is back to not working. Wondering if it's a power board issue?

dbatimana sounds to me like you are having issues with your power board. Possibly bad caps, which would explain why it fails after a while. Let us know what model your TV is and post plenty of good images of your boards (after unplugging your TV and removing the back cover) with your question. Use this guide for that. It will allow us to see what you see.
dbatimana start by checking to make sure you have power on where the cord connects. Set your meter to AC Voltage (may have a ~sign at 200 or above scale). Plug your TV in and do not touch anything. Use the probes to touch the left and right contact (M1 and M2)with the individual probes. Again, make sure that you do not touch anything. If it shows the voltage (~ 110V in N. America-) you know that you have power to the board. You can now check the voltage on the fuse F1. Use any which one your probes and keep it on M@ and touch the fuse on either side. You should see the same voltage. If you get a reading on one side but not the other you know that your fuse has failed. you will have to replace that. If you do have power to both then you would have to measure the voltages on the connector on the top right hand side of your images. Those are DC voltages so set your meter to the DC voltages and a 20V scale would work. You need to place the black probe on ground (pin 3,5,or 7 are ground) and use the red pin to measure the voltages. For that you will have to turn your set on. As always, keep your fingers out of any direct contact with the board. It will be a shocking experience if you do touch it. This goes for ones you unplug it as well. The capacitors will maintain a charge and you will get zapped:-). Let us know what voltages you get.

dbatimana do you have a multimeter that you can use to measure the output on the connector on the power board?
No, I don't however I could possibly purchase one. Is that what you suggest? Also, I'm not sure how to measure the output on the connector.
dbatimana might be a great idea to get one. Don't invest into a high dollar item. A regular analog one will work. Let us know when you got it so we can guide you to see if we can figure out what is going on.
