My tablet won't connect to WiFi

So, I had recently gotten a Polaroid 7" touch screen tablet. But I go to connect to WiFi and it says its connected but nothing works that required WiFi. I tried factory resetting, completely powering down the tablet, and resetting it. But it still is not working. Can you help me?
